You can't. Its SOLD OUT

The MAITLAND SHOWGROUND is huge, so tickets will never sell out, right?

If I lose my ticket can I get a replacement?
Unfortunately no. Treat your ticket like cash, or the phone number of that cute girl/guy you met at the movies last Saturday night. Don't lose it!

Do children get in free?
No. Everyone must have a ticket. Although its an all ages event, its not advised to bring children aged under 12. The event is rated M15+. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (someone aged 18+).

LINEUP
Has the lineup been announced yet?
Yes, and its great! Click here for information on the bands.

What time does the first band start?
About noon. Gates open at 11.30am.

When does it finish?
About 10.30pm. Gates close at 11pm.

EVENT
Is it an all ages event?
Yes it is, although children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult (someone aged 18+). We are expecting a big crowd, its probably not the best place to bring the toddlers.

I've heard a rumour that the Dance Tent is over 18s only. Is this true?
Not true. The dance tent is all ages. The only restriction for under 18s is the bar area.

Can I leave the venue and come back in?
NO PASS OUTS.
This has been requested from various authorities to prevent underage drinking.

If it rains do I get my money back?
The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine.

My dog loves the Presets. Can I bring him along?
Sorry, but no. We aren't allowed to have animals at the event. If you are lucky you might catch a few trotters training on the track next door.

Will there be an ATM on site?
There will be a couple of ATMs in the bar area, but it would be better to get organised before you enter the showground. Make sure you bring plenty of cash for food, drinks and merch.

Can I bring along my own food?
Yes you can bring your own food and softdrink/water. NO BYO ALCOHOL. All bottles must be unopened. Security guards will be checking all bags and will confiscate any opened bottles, alcohol, knives, etc. You can bring along a backpack or similar size bag, but please, not eskies, folding chairs or other bulky items.

GETTING THERE

So where is the Maitland Showground?
You turn off the New England Highway in Maitland. Click here for more details.

Is it far from Newcastle?
About 30 km. Just follow the New England Highway and turn off on ANZAC Street.

Is it far from Sydney?
About 160 km. Its about a 1.5 hour drive from Hornsby in the North of Sydney.

CAMPING and ACCOMMODATION
Can I camp the night?
There is NO CAMPING at the showground.

MERCHANDISE
Can I buy Groovin' the Moo stuff?
Yes. There will be an exclusive range of Groovin' the Moo t-shirts, stubbie coolers and hoodies available on the day.

Will bands be selling stuff?
Yes. There will be the usual great band merchandise available on the day.

ALCOHOL
Can I buy beer at the Moo?
Yes. You will require an "over-18" wristband to buy alcohol, which can only be obtained with photo ID, even if you are Mick Jagger and look 65 years old.

Can I bring my own homebrew?
Mmmmm, homebrew. Unfortunately no alcohol can be brought into the venue. All bags will be checked by security and any alcohol, glass bottles, etc, will be confiscated.

OTHER SUBSTANCES
Will it be OK to smoke a joint with my mates?

Definitely not. In some of our previous events police have brought their sniffer dogs with them. So if you don't want to get busted, DON'T BRING ANYTHING SNIFFABLE.
